I started my math career in 2020 as a returning adult student at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
I transferred to the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and received my mathematics BS summa cum laude in 2024, earning honors in the math major and a computer science minor. As an undergraduate, I served as UWM Math Club president, conducted research at the MSRI-UP REU at SLMath, and published two articles on graph domination in Girls' Angle Bulletin. I also completed a year-long software development internship at Artisan Partners Asset Management and was recognized with honors including the Senior Excellence in Research Award, the Alice Siu-Fun Leung Award for undergraduate mathematicians, and the UWM Undergraduate Research Outstanding Presentation Award for my graph domination research poster.
I am an award-winning tutor with over a year of calculus tutoring experience, and I am passionate about helping every student find joy in math. My mission is to inspire future generations of Latinx and LGBTQIA+ mathematicians to remain persistent in pursuing their goals.
I am currently a master's student at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee; I earn my MS in May 2026. I plan to earn my PhD in mathematics and become a math professor.
When I'm not doing math, I enjoy rock climbing, spending time with my partner and our dog and cat, and bicycling Milwaukee's Oak Leaf Trail.
